The Singers Ensemble "Ligockie Wrzosy" was founded in June 2004 by a group of residents of Ligota Prószkowska, Agnieszka and Przemysław Ślusarczyk with great support from Aniela Czollek - the mayor of Ligota Prószkowska for many years. The task of the group is to promote the village and develop the musical culture of its inhabitants and cultivate the tradition of Silesian culture. The activity of the team is financed by OKiS in Prószków.

"Ligockie Wrzosy" debuted during the Municipal Harvest Festival in Górki near Opole on September 26, 2004. The band gives concerts in the voivodship, in Poland and abroad. The band's repertoire consists of about 100 songs in Silesian dialect, Polish and German. He is a laureate of many awards in regional, provincial and international competitions.

Ligota Prószkowska is one of the few places on the map of the Opolskie Voivodeship and the country where the tradition of making music together, a capella ritual singing and, above all, oral transmission of its heritage is still alive.
